Maga Bo‘s work as a producer, DJ, musician and sound mixer has received worldwide recognition and praise.  Having collaborated with the likes of Mulatu Astatke, Marcelo Yuka and Issa Bagayogo, he has worked and performed in over 40 countries including performances at WOMEX, Mundial and Transmediale as well as releases on Tru Thoughts, Ninja Tune and Cumbancha. In recent years, his location sound recording work has evolved into film making and direction, having created numerous documentaries and video clips related to his musical work. He lives in Rio de Janeiro.
